Terms of Use

Last updated: October 21, 2026 · Version 2026-10-21

1. Using 40Tell

40Tell helps people capture photos and keep them in personal or shared albums. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Use and to use 40Tell lawfully and respectfully.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity on your account. You must provide information that is accurate enough for your profile and must be at least 16 years old to use 40Tell. Do not impersonate another person, create accounts to abuse others, or share access to your account.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of photos, captions, comments and other content you submit. You give 40Tell the limited permission needed to store, process, display and deliver that content to the audiences you choose, including people in shared albums. You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload content and tag people.

4. Shared albums and privacy

Album owners choose the album privacy and contribution settings available in the app. Content can still be copied or captured by people who are allowed to see it, so do not share anything you are not comfortable showing to that audience.

5. Safety and enforcement

Do not upload illegal, harmful, abusive, hateful, sexually exploitative, deceptive or infringing content. We may limit visibility, remove content, suspend accounts or take other action when these Terms, our Community Guidelines or applicable law require it. You can report photos, albums, comments and profiles in the app.

6. Availability and changes

We may improve, change or temporarily suspend parts of 40Tell. We may update these Terms when the service or legal requirements change. If an update materially affects your rights, we will ask you to review and accept the new version before continuing.
